DUNEDIN, Friday. The fifth annual meeting of the New Zealand Biile Association opened to-day at Musselburgh. At the start the weather was Sue, bnt dull, and, as the day advanced, light showers of rain fell.
The Nelson and Canterbury matches occupied all day, and were co»cl«drd about 5.30 this evening. Private A. Balltnger, of Wellington, won the former, alosg with tbe prize of £15. He takts the Nelson Citizens' Cup,which now hecomw his own property, having been the winner of it at Nelson m 1881. Hardi**:, of Oamaru, won the Canterbury match, 200 yards,with the splendid Ecore of 48 out of a possible 50.
