Capt Subritzlcy, of the cutter Mnhuraugi, informs us th.it Mr Spanhakc, his brother-in-law picked up a life-buoy marked " Lady Darling," at sea, close to Ahiparn, about a fortnight ago. The buoy, ho considered, had been in the water for a long time. Tlies.s. Lady Darling, an iron vessel of 722 tons, owned in Melbourne, was wrecked at Montague Island in Nov. ISSO, an<l the schooner Lady Darliu", 109 tons, of Brisbane, at New Hebrides in 1881. Wo know of no other vestel bearing the same name in the colonies, so tho buoy probably belongs to either of the two mentioned.
