No Clue to the Perpetrators,
CHRISTCHURCH, this afternoon, Information ie the fires at Ataroa snys nothing has yet transpired to uilbid a clue to the perpetrator. Mr Bay ley, of Wiicckorlie's Hotel, lost his books but saved' some ofle'ets. Mrs Kioh of the Criterton Hotel had only been confined a few days; she was the first to perceive a smell of fire in the building1. A man named Druck, who was sleeping at Wiokorlie's, actually hoard the incendiary engaged .in his diabolical work, but, unfortunately, be imagined that It was the landlord wno was moving about. The escape of Bruce's Hotel is regarded as almost miraculous.
