DUNEJDIN, this day. Mr Mills has received a cablegram, stating hat David Mintoul, 2nd engineer of the Wakatipu, was killed by falling in among tho engines the day after leaving Wellington. He was literally smashed to pieces. The remains were buried at eea, He leaves a widow in Duncdio, but no family. His life was insured in the Government office for £200 under the company's rule, compelling seigoinK officers to insure for an amount according to tbeir rank.
