an accident of a scriaus nature happened to Mr McLaughlin, of Fapatoitoi, and well known us master of the hounds, yesterday mprning. He was engaged working near a circular saw, when, by some unexplained meant, he sustained a deep. and nasty put on his left fore-arm, which is boUeyed to have opened one of the arteries. He came in to the Hospital at once, where the injury was attended to by Pr. Cooper, and tho bleeding stopped. The hurt is be. Keyed to be of a somewhat dangerous nature.
