Tho p s. Enterprise left tho wharf tor Thames at 0 o'olook last evening, with cargo and pas„nBerß. When about hnlf the voyage had .been acoomplishod, tno crank shaft broke. The Bteamor was therefore put under oanyta and steered for Auokland. making tho wharf Bhortly before 2 o'olook thlß morning. Repairs will be offeotod in time to permit tho steamer to resume hor regular trip on Monday night. H.M. sohooner Lark, wliioh has beon lying nnder shelter of Rangitoto, near the reef, since Sunday morning, ran baok a»d dropped anonor at tho powder-ground at 0 o'olook last evening. The weather continues so bad that tho commander of the vessel considers it inadvisable to proceed seaward until some favourablo ohange takes place.
