THE DARGAVILLE RACES.

DARGAVIILB, this day. It rained heavily yostcrday afternoon, and commenced again this morning, The races are postponed till to-morrow. The township is full to overflowing. Several steamer loads from the lower township arrived this morning. 100 were put up at ltayne's Hotel last night. Ketting Is principally doubles on the Cup aud Hurdles : Dewdropand N orM, 7 to 1 ; Dcwdrop and Matau, 7 to 1 ; Dewdrop and Harkaway, 3 to 1. Maid of Honour had a nasty fall while going full gallop on Monday. Itia predicted that tho attendance will not bo so large as in former years.
