The terrible catastrophe which occurred in Vienna, caused by the burning of the Ring Theatre, is absorbing public attention. It is averred that the into tho disaster has shown that the police through some bungling, locked the doors of the burning' building before it was more than half empty, and to that the extraordinary number of deaths i< attributable, the means of egress being thus cut off.
