FIRE THROUGH KEROSENE EXPLOSION.

DUNEDIN, this day. Two cottages at Caversham were burned down this momiog. The lire was caused by the explosion of a kerosene lamp at ten o'clock last night. Ihe neighbours thought they had put it out, but at three o'clock tbe names burst out and spread with great rapidity, some of the inmates getting severely burned in eflecting their escape!
