Intelligence is to hand from Mecca that the deaths from cholera in that city have lately greatly decreased, and the epidemic is believed to be gradually disappearing. THE SUEZ MAILS. LONDON, November 21. The homeward Australian mails, which left Melbourne on October 12th, were delivered in London to-day, LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, November 22, The fourth series of wool sales oper.ed today with a good attendance of home -and foreign buyers. The first catalogue contained 4,100 bales, for which there was animated bidding, with good prices for scoured and crossbred wool, as a rule at one penny to one penny half-penny higher than at the close of the last sales. The present series of auctions will close on the 10th December.
