A meeting of managers aud agentß was held iv the office of the New Zealand Insurance Company. The following aro the amounts of insurance at the undermentioned offices :-New Zealand, £1,110; South British, £750; National, £1,000; Standard, £GSO; Colonial, £2,950; United, £325; Royal, £190; Union, £G25; N.B. and Mercantile, £900 ; Imperial, £200; Sun, £250; Norwich Union, £250; and Tians-Atlantic, £250. Total, £9,450.
Re-insurance 3 reduce the Colonial loss to £21,300.
The Insurances as far as known are —
Union : Lee, £1,000; K. Rhodes, £250 ; Bay of Plenty Times, £400 ; Douglas' cottages and contents, £100.
Standard : Menzics, £300. South British: Lee, £500; E.Rhodes; £200.
New Zealand: Bay of Plenty Times, £400 Chadwick, £300 ; Tubby's estate, £190.
National : Leo, £250; B. Ellis, £50 ■ Niclson, £GlO ; J. Vogan, £200. Consignors' goods in Jordan's store, £100; R. C. Jordan, £100.
: Colonial; " Da'v of Plenty Time's " Building, £300.
