CIir.ISTCHUUCIJ, this day. At 5.20 this morning a lite broke out iv one of four newly erected and unoccupied houses, belonging to Mr ''rice, situated in Oxford Terrace. Tho brigade was quickly on the spot, and the lire was extingui-hed. The damage is estimated at £100. Tho four houses were insured for H2OO ill the Koval oilice.

The police arrested a mnu named John Brown, a'iis Heniy Duncan, who was seen about the promises when the lire broke out.
