DISAPPEARANCE OF A CHINAMAN.
The Chinese losidents of the city are greatly exercised regarding the mysterious disapdearance of one of their countrymen. Ho has not been seen for some timo, and they fear that ho has made away with him. self or that some fatal accident has befallen him, unknown to them. Tho matter has boen reported at tho Police Station, and enquiries are now being made, Mr Pa^dy in of opinion that nothing has happened to the man, but that ho has gotio iuto tho country in search of employment.
