The election of two representatives of East Ward in the City Council will take place in the room at tho back of the Free Public Library (Mechanics'lnstitute) between the hours canine a.m. and six p.m. to-morrow. The candidates ara Messrs Graves Aickin, John Grey, G. llemus, aud .T. P. King. The houndaries of the Ward include all property on the East side of Queen-street as far a* Karangahapc Koud nud the Graf ton Itoad and Parnell boundaries—that is to say, the lino of Stanley-street and Symondsstreet.
