THEATRE ROYAL.
On Saturday evening a bcncCt was tendered to Mr Barry p'Neii; by rhembeM of the company, and Mr J. J. Wallace, who represented " Petec Probity, J) .i in Craven's interesting fdomestic drama of "Old Fidelity." There; was a very'goo4 house,' and the. several features comprising the entertainment, gave unmixed satisfaction. The cast of -characters were as follows :— i" Probity," Mr Wallace ; '■■ : 1' Solbmoa," Mr. Haggarth : "-John," Mr'O'JJrien ;''':Ghailes :Gliitty," Mr J:. B.'.Steele; "Shifter," Mr Mason ; " Patt>," Miss Raymond ; and •'Grace," Miss Wilton. Mr Wallaco was equally successful, as on a previous eveniug in theiine character of '1 Old-Probity," and the characters generally were well sustained. The Olla Podrida was very amusing and enabled Mr Barry CNfeil to shine in his particular element. ! Mr Hill sang a favoarite ballad. The lightening changes of Mr O'Neil in three .distinct changes of costume in four minutes,1 or even leas, brought forth rounds of applause. Miss Marie Wilton sang the dance song "Every Inch a Queen" with effect. Mr Charles Weightiaan performed the •.' Flying Bird Cage " trick with astonishing rapidity. The: whole conclude^ with Tpw Farron's new Irish■ absurdity- "The.Babies on the BJockf" The whole was satisfactory,,,,, .
