AN AMICABLE SETTLEMNT.

jhghgh

We are glad to learn that the differences between Mr Shera, and Mr Howard have been settled without any appeal to the law courts. A mutual Mend having brought the two gentleman together, they agreed to skake hands over past differences, and, like two ueEsible men let by-gones be by-gonea.^ The cases that wore pending in'the Police Court are therefore unreservedly withdrawn. We are sure that the many friends of both gentlemen will be gratified at this adjustment of a recontre which arose entirely from the heat of momentary anger, and from no personal ill feeling.
