Tho schooner Transit left Lyttelton for Auckland on tho 13th instant with the. following cargo :-3'26 sacks potatoes. 6 case 3 jelly, 20 cases bacon, 102 cheese, 50 sacks beans, 37 cases meats, 5 tona flour, 20 cases vinegar, 3CO saoks oats.

Tho s,s. Glenelg is expected to arrive tomorrow morning from Tauranga and Morcury Bay.

The schooner Rona left Oamaru for this port on the 13th instant with 200 sicks bran, 28 sacks oatmeal, and 957 sacks wheat.

The s.s. Argyle will arrive to-night from Whangarei and Mangapai. She returns to the same ports to-morrow.

Tho topsail schooner Edith Reid cleared at the Customs to-day for tho Thames, where she is to load with timber for Kaiapoi or Lyttelton.

The s.s. Hawea. arrived from RusseU yesterday with 200 tons coal, 70 sacks oysters, and the following pa.sengers:—Miss Williams and Mrs Shearer.

The Hawea sailed for the South to-day with the fallowing passengers:—For Tauranga: Miss Grace, Mr J. Heslop. For Gisborno: Messrs. H. Smith, Butt, M. J. McLeod. For Napier: Messrs. Soloman, J. Gallagher, Roper, Moorhouse, Davidson, For Wellington: Messrs. Brownlee, Smith, Groy. Greytrex, Elder Bros., K. Atkinson, Dr Jakins, Dodson, Flaherty, Hodson, Miss J. Godwin, S. Stevenson. For Lyttelton: Mis 3H. Viney, Miss E- Smith, Messrs J. Levy, C. N. McMurdo, Lowman. For Dunedin: Messrs A. R. Hay, and Withers. Por Melbourne: Mr Mrs and Miss Brookfield.
