ALBERT POTTER, WOOL STAPLER AND SCOURER, Having had repeated applications for Wool cleaned by "his process for tho purpose of making Beds, Mattresses. &c. has induced him to introduce to tho notlco of ladies and gentlemen, private families, hotel and boarding-house keepers, especially invalids, and tho public in general of New Zealand, his Pork Wool Mattktssks, Squabs lor Sofas and Couches, Beds for Children's Cots, Settees, &c, and in doing so would bez to observe that the Wool his Mattresses nro stulled with is divested of all dirt, animal and glutinous matters, and is entirely f reo from iiupurities of every description, "the fibres of tho Wool retaining all its elasticity and flexibility, as when in the previous state,—tho yolk." Therefore persons using them will not bo subject to those very disagreeable vapours which the pressure of the body, as-isted by its heat upon impure animal and other suostances, emits, and the many diseases which follow it, a3 an acting cause. Hamilton, Waikato, March, 1579. Medical Thstmony. Hamilton, April 15,1879.—5ir, I have carefully looked ovor some specimens of your Wool prepared for Mattress making, and find it not only excellent in quality but free from any disagreeable smell or grease, Thn Wool is bo carefully ■' carded' that no " felting" can take flare, thus ensuring that beautiful softness and elasticity so essential to a bed. For some years I have vised Wool Mattresses in my own house prepared by myself, nnd I greatly prefer them to any ->ther kind ; but you far oxcel mo in tho softness and elastic character of your "carded " wools.— lam sir, yours obediently, K. Waddinqton, M.D.— To Mr Albert Poltor, Hamilton Kast. Auckland, April 23,15751.—1 certify that I havo carefully examined some specimens of " carded" Wool, prepared by Mr Potter of Waikato. They are beautifully clean, free from any disaßrcoablo smell: and in my opinion are- very suitable for Mattresses, would bo very elastic, warm and comfortable.—Thos. B. Kksdehdink, M.R.0.8., L. & K. I have carefully examined tho two samples of ■Wool which you gave me, anil find them excessively clean, fron from tmell, and admirably lilted for the manufacture of Mattresses and Cushions, one of which I also inspected. I consider a well-made Wool Mattress more healthy and comfortable than a feather bed: and. judging from tho samples I saw in your possession, I can most conscientiously recommend tho materials anoUho work.—Chap.
