Silt, —It is not my duty or desire to enter into a correspondence with Mr Gudgeon on this subject. Saflice it to say that both he and Mr Bullcr have fallen into errors in their statements, aud 1 refer them both to the Blue Books for the period for authentic information ou the subject —I am, &c, W.
