Therefore persons using them will not bo subject to those very dlsagreeablo vapours which the pressure of the body, us-isted by its heat upon impure animal and other substances, emits, and the many diecaaes which follow it, aa an acting cause. Hamilton, Waikato. March, 1873. Medical Thsiimony. Hamilton, A pril 15,1879.—5ir, I have carefully looked over some specimens o£ your Wool prepared for Mattress making, and find it not only excellent in quality but free from any disagreeable smell or grease. Tho Wool is bo carefully •' carded' that no " felting" can take place, thus ensuring that beautiful softness and elasticity bo essential to a bed. For some years I have used Wool Mattresses in my own house prepared by myself, and I greatly prefer them to any Hher kind; but you for excel mo In tho softncsß and elastic character of your " carded " wools.— lam Bir, yours obediently; K. Waddinoton, M.D.— To Mr Albert Potter, Hamilton Kast. Auckland, April 25,1879.-1 ceriify that I havo carefully examined some specimens of " carded" Wool, prepared by Mr Potter of Waikato. They are beautifully clean, freo from any disagreeable smell; and in my opinion aro very suitable for Mattresses, would be very elastic, warm and comfortable.—Tiios. B. Kenderdine, M.R.C.S., L. & E. I have carefully examined tho two samples of Wool whioh you gave me, and find them excessively clean, frca from smell, and admirably fitted for the manufacture of Mattresses and Cushions, one of which I also inspected. I consider a well-made Wool Mattress more healthy and comfortable than a feather bed : and. judging from the samples I saw in your possession, I can most conscientiously recommend the materials and the work.—Chap.
