NGARUAWAHIA.
Mr McMinn addressed the electors of this district, Mr James Lindsay in the chair. The candidate's speech was merely a reiteration of his previous speeches. His promines were very vague and not definite on any question. He would go with the majority for the good of the province. He would amend the compulsory clause of the Education Act, and would not pledge himself to follow any leader. A vote of uo-con-fidence followed, and the meeting dispersed.
