We have subjected a sample of tho above- j named article to a very caroful chemical analyis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report shew that tliis spirit is of good strength, practically freo from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicato and agreeable aroma, and a puro and mild tasto. Mr. Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior articlo of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. Signed) Arthur H. It has a pure, fragrant odour, and is absolutely freo from any traces of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and haß evidently beon distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt n tho production of the choicest qualities of ichnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and n this respect compares favourably with other mrnpies offered for sale. It may be advised as , iqually suitablo for medical or economic purposes,— I have tho honour to bo, &0., (Signed) Wm. Johnson, Analytical Chemist to the Governmen T of Victoria.
