ALBERT~POTTER, WOOL STAPLER AND SCOURER, Having had repeated applications for Wool cleaned by "his process" for the purpose of making Beds, Mattresses. &c, has induced Mm to introduce to the notice of ladies and gentlemen, private families, hotel and board ing-housj keopers, especially invalids, and the pubio in general of New Zealand, his Pure Wool Mattresses. Squabs lor Sofas and Couches, Beds for Children's Cots, Settees, &0., and in doing so would bee to observe that tho Wool his Mattresses are stuffed with is divested of alt dirt, animal and glutinous matters, and is entirely free from impurities of every description, "the fibres of the Wool retaining all its elasticity and flexibility, as when in the previous state,—the yolk." Therefore persons using them will not bo subject to those very disagreeable vapours which the pressure of tho borly, asdsted by itsheat upon impure animal and other mbstances, emits, and the many diseases which follow it, as an acting cause. Hamilton, Waikato, March, 1879. Medical Testimony. Hamilton, __)ril 15,1879—5ir, I have carefully looked over somo specimons of your Wool prepared for Mattress making, and find it not only excellent in quality but free from any disagreeable smell or grease Tho Wool is so carefully ' carded' that no " felting" can take place "thus ensuring that beautiful softness and elasticity so esaontial to a bed. For somo years I have used Wool Mattressos in my own house prepared by myaolf, and I greatly profer them to any other 'kind; but you far excel me in the softness and elastic character of yonr "carded' wools. —I am sir, yours obediently, K. Wadoington, M. D. To Mr Albert Potter, Hamilton East. Auckland, April 25,1879.-I certify that I have carefully examined some specimens of "carded" Wool, prepared by Mr Potter of Waikato. They are beautifully clean, free from any disagreeable smell; and in my opinion are very sultablo for Mattrosses, would be very elastic, warm, and comfortable.—THOS. B. Kenderdine M. R. C. S„ L. & E. I have carefully examined the two samples of Wool which you gave mo, and find them excessively clean, free from smell, and admirably fitted for tho manufacture of Mattresses and Cushions, one of which I also inspected. I consider a well-made Wool Mattress moro healthy and comfortable than a feather bed: and. judging from the samples I saw in your possession, I can most conscientiously recommend the materials and the work.— Ciiaulk .
