The barque Cabarfeidh and three-masted schooner John Watson, cleared at the Customs to-day for Newcastle in ballast. The s.s. Ladybird arrived from the Sonth this morning. Rowena ran on a mad-bank at Whangarei, thu3 causing a detention. She had not arrived when we went to press. A schooner inside Tiritiri was signalled when wo went to pres3. The brigantino Borough Bolle cleared at the Customs to day in ballast, for Guam. Passengers—Mrs Dunn and child. The s.s. lona arrived from Russell and north : em ports this morning, wlth2si eacks kauri gam' 121 sacks oysters, 16 baake.a flsh, 20pig3,12 bags coal, and a quantity of oundnes. She will return again on monday afternoon. The schooner Coronet was taken out of the Gravinfr Dock thi3 morning. She ha 3 entered out at the Customs for^pia, Samoß, The s.s. -Argylo, which was advertised to proceed to Wnngirei and Mangapai yesterday afternoon will not leave until Tuesday afternoon owing to the acoident which detained the Kowcna at Wiiangarei. The schooner Ovalau entered out at the Customs to-duy. She is loading at the Railway Wharf with Auckland coal. The Nova Scotian brigantine Peerless ent^ed out at tho Customs to-day for .hew. castle. The schooner Kdith Reid cleared at the Cu?toma to-3ay for Wangaraa, where she will lead timber for a Southern port. The schooners Aratapu and £axon are loading at Lyttelton for this port. The Glcnelg arrived from Tsuranga and Mercury Bay this «f ternoon, with 93 socii s maize, IS sacko wheat, 13 hides, 100 sheepskins, and sundries. Passengers:—Messrs Biss, Logan. Parker. Hawkeswood.BrowD.Bleazard, Masters Brabant and Downey, and two in tho steerage. TheWeymonth entered out at the Customs today for Fanning Island, and is expected to sail about the middle of the week.
