THE PONSONBY ELECTION.
(To the Editor.)
Sic, — With reference to | an old Resident's reply to Ratepayer's letter, let me tell him that the statements as to the private meeting of a few men, to endeavour to control the present election, are beyond dispute, the same having been admitted by the ringleaders. Doubtless we are all snobs in a greater or lesser degree, but one of the most unmitigated, is he who thinks no one'capable of speaking the truth, bar himself. — Yours &c, Am;othek Katepayee.
