FUNERAL OF MR SAMUEL COCHRANE.
TpiS afternoon the mortal remains of Mr S. jCochraoe werp followed to their last resting place in St. Mark's cemetery, Remuera, by a cortege composed of many of the loading citizens and representative men. The principal mourners tvere : —Mr W. S. Cochrane, Mr Jas. Dacre, Mr Thos. Macky, and the Rev John Macky. Thecs gentlemen occupied the first carriage after the hearse, -while in the others we noticed: G. M. O'Rorke, M.H.E., the Hon. P. Dignan, M.L.C., jfcho Revs D. B. Munro, R. Jl.
