She will remain at Wellington [for the Kegatta on the 22nd inst. The brigantine Flirt arrived at Timaru trom Newcastle yesterday. ~.,., . The brigantine Ads C. Owen sailed this forenoon for the Thames, where she is to load with timber for Lyttelton. The brigantine Oamaru is now on her way from lyttelton to this port with a cargo of ■breadstuff's. , , . The brigantine Look Ont cleared at _ the Cuttoms to-day for Kaipara, where she is to load up with timber for nydney. The s s Pretty Jane arrived from Gisborne to-day, with 500 shedp, 46 boxes gra3S-seed, and 4 packages sundries. She will leave again to-morrow afternoon. The Melbourne Argus of December 30th says: "jY vessel name supposed Taunton, 42 days out and bonnd to Auckland, was spoken by the Ben Nevis on November 17th in latitude 2724 S., and longitude 26-31 W." This vessel will ■nrohably be the James Wishart, which was ex-irtly 12 days out at the time mentioned. None of the vessels now on the way from London bear the name Taunton. The topsail schooner Vavau has entered out at the Customs for Tonga and Samoa. _ The three-masted schooner Fairlie will clear to-morrow, and sail immediately afterwards from the Manukau for Newcastle, in ballast. She will there load up with coal, and return to Auckland. .
