POST-SESSIONAL ADDRESSES. Mr Wakefleld delivered an address to bis constituents here last night. Between 400 and 500 persons were present. He condemned the stumping the country by the Grey party, and said their only object appeared to be to stiok to their seats at all hazards. Therefore he had gone into independent opposition. He condemned the Electoral Bill as a hollow reform, and the Laud Tax aa inquisitorial, and the « ompanies Tax Bill as inquisitive. As to the Railways Construction BiJl, ho believed that the only railways made this year would be in Otauio, while all others would be neglected. He believed that next year a strong stumt would be made against the Gtey Ministry, and he was convinced that af ■«■ h Ministry would be placed in power wno we Ld effect honest reforms. He considered the fa.,., that Mr Ourtis's Bill was only defeated by seven vote? wasi the strongest argument tbat the public were tending towards denominational education. A vote of thanks waa carried witii only fourjdissentlents.
