Suspicious Death, at Coromandel
COP.OMANDEL, this day. The death of a boy under suspicious circumstances at Coromandel has been reported to the police. The boy had a quarrel with another boy, who inflicted a severe kick iv the grein, and it is believed that this was the cause of death. A post mortem examination has been ordered, and a telegram has been sent to Mr Superintendent Thomson requesting that another medical man may be sent here from Auckland to assist.
[We learn ou inquiry at the Police Station that Dr Hayues proceeded in the s.s. Argyle at uoon to-day to render professional assistance.]
