Watson is making a good stand. He has already' added 21 to the score, and is not oiit. Neilson, the captain, followed Ashby aud was caught out after playing a fine innings for 19. The . fielding of Ballarat is very good. Canterbury has scored 7S with the loss of only three wickets.
