He has always fulfilled his duties to the utmost satisfaction of his employers and he leaves them now with the utmost goodwill. A largelnumber of persons, including several ladies assembled at the dock this afternoon, to witness the fona being floated out and. the Roderick Dim taken in. The dock was filled in the usual manner, and the lona taken out. She grazed the Roderick Dhu while passing out, but without inflicting any serious damage. The Roderick Dhu was taken m on tbe same tide. During the four days she has been m the dock, the lona has undergone a thorough overhaul. Her engines and machinery were repaired by Messrs Fraser and Tinne, while Messrs Niccol and Son overhauled her, &c. The cabin accommoaation increaßed. and the upholstery work performed by Messrs Hollowayand Garlick. Mr Ward has the contract for repainting the T£The'Go-ahead started from the Manukau for Waitara again to-day.
