This Easter entertainment will be one worthy of patronage, and which the people of Auckland will The programme of this evening will embrace no less than 14 varied exhibitions, accompanied by a splendid band. The first scene will comprise the fine and greatlyadmired pageant and march, introducing the whole of the Company upon gaily caparisoned^ horses, carrying [ representative knights and ladies answering to the description given by Sir Walter Scott in his famous " Ivanhoe," followed by bannerbearers, grotesque figures, a train of elephants, drove of camels, Arabian horses, and a drove of beautiful ponies. The scenes will be the tricks of the performing elephant, bearing the fairy name of Titania, introduced by her trainer, Professor Johnston. Abalardo Lowande will perform his unequalled equestrian somersault, subjected to a shower of jokes from Nat Austin, the Grimaldi of the agc.g A number of beautiful classical groupings will be represented by Messrs Lazelle aud Maffit. The female Samson, Madame D'Atalia, the wonder of the world, will also appear to-night, accompanied by hor powerful pupils, in her astonishing feats of dexterity and strength. The remaining exhibition will include the equitation by Mallr, Cordelia, the battoute, caps by Mr W. Batchelor; the ['aerial wonders of Charles and Lotino ; Japanese piggling, tricks, hurdle feats, and comicalities ; also, the electrifying act, styled the flight of the whirlwind in which Martinho Lowande will ride, and guide seveu horses at a time. Professor Geo'-ge Wambold will show his educated dogs, which will exhibit their remarkable sagacity, evidencing, the existence of reason in the lower animals. The dual sceue will be Professor Johnson, the American Lion King, in company with a den^of savage Kallirf!lions. One of the most remarkable facts in connection with these combined or partnership exhibitions is that the members of the company aregpersons of acknowledged ability of the first order, from the lecturer, Mr Horace Nichols, to the trio of clowns whose wit is irrcsistable, in its influences upon the audiences, Messrs Au-tin, Cassim, and Maffit. The different exhibitions are in separate tents, the menagerie in one,, and the equestrian circus in another, so that all who enter may choose their particular department. Tho seat accommodation is excellent, and arranged with good taste, so that every visitor will have an equal view of the passiag scenes. This Easter eutertainment will be one worthy of patronage, dnd which the people of Auckhmd will not soon forgot
