AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET.
MR ALFRED BUCKLAND'S WEEKLT REPORT. At Drury, on Wednesday, there was a larger mu-'er of cattle than U3ual, and a numerous attendance. Bidding was slow, and although all the cattle yarded were sold, prices shewed a downward tendency. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were numerous, and although two cows" brought respectively £12 and £13 each, prices were lower, and several withdrawn. Store cattle in moderate number and at late values. Fat cattle in fall supply, and mostly of good quality ; la3t week's values fully sustained. Sheep in less thnn usual numbers, and better enouirv. Few pigs yarded. Averages obtained -vrere : -_H. Knox, 12 steers, £10 Is 6d: T. Rogers, . head, £7 103; F. Scott, 5 steers, £8 ss; Alex. Ramsay, 19 steers, £9 Is, 13 cows, £7 153; F. Foster, 11 head mixed sexes, £5 12s 6d; Alan Scott, 1 steers, £3 lis ; 6 cows, £617s 6d; J. H. Scott, 9 head, £7 6s; Robt. Bent, 21 steers, £9 os; J. W. Williams, 21 steers, £7: JOs. Gane, 121 ghecp, 12s Id ; 110 wethers, R. Kelly, 163 Bd.
