REGISTER! REGISTER! REGISTER!

Persons who value their political privileges, and who would neither lose nor sell their votes, are informed that they must register before the 31st instant, or be excluded from its exercise at general and Borough elections. It is a matter of regret that the industrial portion of the community should take so little interest in the franchise and the framing of those laws by which they are governed. The welfare of a community- and the safety of a State depend almost entirely upon the wisdom of the Legislature. We advise working men, therefore, to see to this matter, if they have not already done so, and call upon Mr Collins, at his office, over the Police Court, and register without delay ; remembering the adage ot the philosopher, " Procrastination is the thief of time."
