c! me into Court at nine o'clock this morning, and said there was not the faintest probability of agreeing. The Judge hinted he would have them locked up again, and the foreman then asked a quarter of an hour's respite. At 9.30 a.m. the jury again came into Court Avith a A'erdict of " Not guilty." Mi Justice Johnston said he hoped the case would be a Avarning to others.
