Horse stock met in f nliy usual numbers, but met with an irregular sale, and many were withdrawn. Of those sold, heavy draught brought from £40 to £50: medium draught £19 to £31): riding horses, 15 and upwards. Cattle and sheep.-At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were lalny represented, and at less values. Good animals brought from L 8 to LlO. Store catble in larger than usual numbers, and at late values. Dry cows averaged L 4 5s ; 18-month old heifers, L 3 5s to <*o L,3 10s; 18-months old ste»rs, L 4 10s; 3-year old steers, LC 10s to L 7. Fat Cattle were of good quality, ■and in less numbers than average. 104 head were sold to the trade. Prices were steady throughout the sale, at 303 the 1001b. SJjeeo were in full numbers, bin many of indifferent quality more suited for the grazier than the butcher, and brought BJf the lb. Averages obtained were: 12 head, John Scott.
