Burglary.
Tins morning Mr David Gouk found that some miscreant had effected an entry into his workshop at Smaile's Point, and stolen several articles, including a clonk. The thief had got in by removing the fastening from one of the sheets of corrugated iron, of which the shed is constructed. The captain of the cutter Katarina Borrodaile, which is laid up for repairs in Mr Gouk's yard, also discovered several things missing from his vessel this morning, and it is confidently believed that the same thief committed both robberies. The police are on the alert.
