(From our own Correspondent.) This day. Lieut-Colonel Faddy Dead-Lieut.-Colonel Faddy, whose career: in India was published recently in the Auckland Star, was buried to-day with military honors. A subscription is being raised to sond his two lads home. He died penniless. The s.s. Graua,(la leaves for Auckland at 2 p.m. to-day.

The Poverty Bay crew for our regatta on the 17th arrived to-day.
