ARRIVAL OP THE CITY OP SAN FR4NCISCO. The P.M.S.S. City of San Francisco 3009 tons, left Sydney, N.S W._ on Friday, the 14th of January, at <3 37pm, with mails pa seneerg, and ca'uo ; a 7,25 !P m. the pilot left; experienced moderate fine weatotr ;and arrived at Kandavu on the 21st at I 50 p m ; on .January 24, at 7.30 am, transferred our mails, pasiSengerg, and cargo to the steamer Mikado, bound to San Franriso ; remained ninety hours in po-t for the 'San Francisce steamer although instructed only to •wut for 72 hours ; January 25 at 7.10 pm, left Kan--davu, and had head winds up to January 2_ ; then it (blew a southerly gale wuh a v-ry hoavv sea (i-teamine aiine knots at the'tim-) till January 29, at 7 30 am but as we got under the Ice of tho land it aiodaratel ; the same day, at 10.30, the pilot came on board at 11 a.m., and arrived at AucMind Paasanger- SubLieutenant iiobert Collins, H M,R,N.
