According to previous announcement, Messrs B. Tonka and Cc sold by auction yesterday the riight to sell refreshments, liquors, etc., at the Elleralie Gardens on the occmioh of the Christmas sports. The cricket-house was bought by W. Drew for £16 1« s; grand stand bar. O ; Burton, £18; booth No 1, Galbraith, £5 ; right to sell fruit, Mrs Vere, £6. The same auctioneers also disposed of the right to sell liquors, etc , at the Grand Stand bar and booths on the Ellerslie Racecourse at the summer race meeting onlstandSrd January next. The following are the prices realised :—Grand Stand bar, Mr Lynch, £50; booth No 1, Adams and Harker, £26; booth No 8, Oleeson, £14 : booth No 3, Bullen, £10: booth No 4, Brierly £6; right to sell fruit, Greea,*£B 16s ; cards, Adams, £50.
