The Lome-street concert and ball on Monday evening promises to be one of the great attractions "of Boxing .eight. The arrangements are all apparently admirably made, and it is the intention of thp Cotnmitee to carry them faithfnlly out. With such nld favorites as O'Hare, Miss Coleman, Miss Woods, Mettam Bros. Entschkow, and Chap man you are too well acquainted to require one word from us; but we have new names on the programme, such as Mrs Homer, Miss Sinclair, Mr Carter—all of whom we have heard, and can only say to the public "if your don't you miss a treat." Mx Helzinger comes to us with a really good reputation from Melbourne, where he is very brightly spoken of. The refreshments and band are under Mr G. Wright's supervision, which is sufficient to ensure the confidence of all. Mr H. Waite and Mr C. B. Andrew will do the polite on the occasion, assisted by a very careful and assiduous committee, all of whom will do their best to make their patrons pass a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes.
