HEWIN—On the 22nd December, after a lingering illness, Isabel Rachel, the dearly beloved wife of Hy. Hewin, and second daughter of Mr. S, Y. Collins, ag-ed 24 years. The funeral will leave her late residence at 4 p.m. to-morrow (Thursday). GEARAN—On the 22nd December, at his late residence, Hill-street, Newmarket, after a long and painful illness. Patrick Gearan, native of Limerick, Ireland, and late of H.M. Csth Regiment, aged 49 years. The fnaeral will take place at 3,30 pm. tomorrow. Friends are respectfully invited to attend.

MORGAN—On December 21, Patrick Morgan, blacksmith, Mercer, aged 41 yearfl. Requiescat in pacn. The remains will leave ihe hallway Station, Auckland, on Thursday mornin;*, at 10.30.
