CURE GOLDMINING COMPANY.

The half-yearly meeting of shareholders of this Company was held in the offices of Mr. R. Home this day. Mr. George Williamson occupied the chair, and spoke briefly upon the condition and prospects oi the Company. Tbe Kuccess which attended the operations in the mine since the iast meeting bad enabled the directors to declare two dividends of 9s per share which have been paid, and as far as could be ascertained by personal inspection and the mine managers report, the prospects|of the mine a?e hopeful. The expanses of the mine bad been heavy, but a large amount of work had been done in prospecting and opening up the mine, while the strictest economy bad been observed in the outlay. A balance of Ll9 19s Sd remained to credit.

The reports were adopted, and £G0 was voted as honorarium for the ensuing six months.
