DEPARTURES.
Floral Star, 3-masted schooner, lor Newcastle and Adelaide Cabarfeidh, barque, McKenzie, for Newcastle Omaha, brigantine, for Kaipara Wild "Wave, brig-, for Lyttelton (from the Thames) Go-ahead, s.s, for Wanganui (from the Manukau) jhe barque Cabarfeidh sailed on Saturday for NewCastle. The three-masted schooner Floral Star left yesterday for Newcastle en route for Adelaide. The brigantine Omaha left yesterday for Kaipara, where she will load for Lyttelton. The brig Wild Wave has sailed from the Thames for Lyttelton with 130,000 ft timber. The Union Co's steamer Hawea, and the New Zealand Steam Shipping Co. Phoebe are both advertised to sail for the South on Thursday next. The light baffling winds of the last ten days have prevented any important arrivals being reported, and the list of due vessels is daily becoming longer. We shall exp»ct to see a change during the present week, and when they once begin to make their appearance should not wonder at seeing a regular stream. The barque Columbus from London is now 104 days from dock, and 96 from land, so that her time is fully up; the regular liner City of Auckland is 98 days out, and is »lso due ; the barque Victor from Port Gamble cleared for this port on the 14th May, and is now 129 days out, so that if she is coming here at all she should turn up soon ; the barque Forget-me-not was to leave Sydney according to latest advices about the 11th instant, and may therefore be looked for at an early d«te ; the William Gilford from Oamaru, the Prince Alfred and Marmionfrom Lyttelton, the barque Ashburton from Wellington, the Lady Franklin from Melbourne, and several small craft from the Islands and the Coast, in addition to a German man-of-war, whose movements are .of course not fully known, complete the list The schooner Gem and the cutter Wanderer have cleared in ballast for Wangapoua. The steam launch Transit cleared out to-day for the Thames in ballast. The barque Bella Mary cleared to-day for Hobart Town in ballast, and with 16 kauri spars. She sails to-morrow morning. .. The cargo of the schooner Waiwera from Wangaroa, consists of 35,000 feet timber, and that of the Prince Kupert ketch from the same port, of 46,000 ft timber, 16 bides, and 2 tons luggage. The s.s. Phoebe arrived in the Manukau to-day with following passengers:-Mr and Mrs Howden, family, 'and servant, Mr and Mrs Messenger, Miss 3ondra, Bey McKee, Messrs Wayraouth, Cook, Pnrman, Bright, Lyons, Alley, Packer, Adams, Smith, and three in the steerage. Messrs E. Porter and Co. shipped per lona. for Russell —2 cases glass, 1 pge caps, 1 nest galvanised tubs, 1 case hardware, 1 parcel do, 1 bale woolpacks. 1 bundle spades. The schooner Ebenezer, from Russell brings 42 tons .coal. ..' The schooner Peerless cleared to-day for Mercury Bay with ballast nnd a few spars. Captain TJrquhart goes in command this voyage The barqae Witch of the Wave cleared to-day for . Newscastlo in ballast. .
