SALE OF VALUABLE CITY PROPERTY.

We invite particular attention to a sale of valuable household and freehold landed properties on the 6th of October, by Mr. Geo. W. Binney, at the Corn Exchange. The property is situate in Hobson and Nelson-streets, and known as that of the lats William Hobson, Esq., from whose familj- it passed into the hands of Captain Burton, recently from England. It is seldom that such an opportunity occurs for acquiring allotments so close to the heart of the city, with all the advantages connected therewith. The land has just sufficient slope for drainage, and is all in a good condition, much of it in a high state of cultivation. Toe block forms the square in the centre of Cook, Hobson, and Nelson-streets, embracing Nelson avenue and consists of twenty-one allotments of section forty of the city of Auckland ; thirteen in Hobson and Cook-streets, with a twelve roomed dwelling house, with coachhouse and stable on the same section, and seven building allotments in Nelson-street Persons who desire to po. sessa one or more of these eligiblegproperties will do well to call on Mr Binney in Queen-street, who will give them every information respecting the same, and where they can see the plan of the property. The auctioneer's announcement, in another column, gives such a graphic description of the advantages of the property that there is little left for us to add. There can be no doubt that the whole block is the finest now vacant in tbe city for residences. The Nelson-street allotments are as valuable for cottage site 3as the frontage to Hobson-street, are commanding a fine view, being very retired, and removed from the du3t attendant on heavy traffic in a muchfrequented thoroughfare. The terms are very liberal.
