The ps Lady Bowen did not make her usual trip to Mahurangi to-day. Messrs Meyers Bros & Co, Christchurcb, yesterday received a telegram from the Bluff announcing that the thr*e-imsted schooner Fairlie passed that port on the 10th inst, bound frond Launces^on to Lyttelton She may therefore be expected at the latter place at any mrment. The ship Lutterwnrth left London for this port on'the 10th Aprit She brings-26 second and thirdclass passengers. The Lutterworth comes under tho auspices of Messrs Shaw, Savill and Co, Tne brigs Albion and Victory left Adelaide for Auckland on ihe<2G..h and'23rd May respectively The Victory is a brig qf 225 tons, commanded by Captain 'Whiting and brings 2755 bags of wheat. She has also on board 90.tons- copper ore for Newcastle. The, Albion, 240rtonsj Captain "Wilson, brings 2753 bags wheat. The brig Derwent is advertised for sale by Mr "W G Binney, at the Corn Bxcharge, on Thursday, June 17. The schooner Queen is advertised to leave for Hohianga on Monday next. .... . The wretched weather of the last 24 hours has put an entire stop to business on the wharf. A gale from the eastward, a'compinierl with persistent rain,-blew through tue night and the appearance of tho sky to seaward at daylight this morning was about as dirty as it could well be.
