The " Intelligent Vagrant," who has lately been rusticating at Milton, Otago, makes a remark on immigration. He says :—" Milton support 3 in its barracks an immigrant who is, to say the least of it, eccentric. This gentleman was kindly sent to us by Mr Colin Allan, and seems likely to remain with us a long time, employers having a ridiculons, but, apparently, insurmountable preiudice against him, because such of his talk as he addresses to human beings is lacomprehensible, and because he is in the habit of carrying'on animated conversations with the moat extraordinary things possible. Two or three days ago he came up the street with a leg of mutton in his hand, to which he was oommunioating, with much earnestness, bis opinion on the rather vexed subject of ''Original Sin." N
