From the Nautical Magazine for March, we take the following:—" Board of Trade, Feb. 13.—The Board of Trade have received, through the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, a copy of a dispatch from Her Majesty's Minister at Washington, inclosing corresponpence with the United States Government, from which it appears that all vessels in ballast, whether of American ownership or otherwise, trading from foreign ports to ports in the United States, whan within four leagues of the coast, are required to be provided with manifests on which their sea stores are exhibited, and the masters of any such vessels failing to be so provided are liable to a fine of 500 dollars."
