THE ALLEGED STICKING-UP CASE
By instiuctions from Inspector Broham, Detective Jeffrey, to-day, investigated th' alleged sticking up case of the labour;!1 named Moni-on, on the Onehunga Road, on Thursday ci^ht. Upon being questioned, Morrison said that he had received a shove that sent him down, and when he got up h<CDuld not find his hat. He admitted, however, that the repoited loss of £20 was m exaggeration. It seems that on the night in question he had been passed on the road b* a member of the police force, and had then evidently been enjoying himself, aud it ifsupposed that the alleged violent assault is a hallucination peculiar to his condition.
