(JFrom our own Correspondent.) This day. A trial parcel 170 lbs. stuff from Corne's 1 find about four miles from the Tairua Prospectors' Claim towards Puriri, yielded 2 dwts. 1 17 grains gold. The reef is from 20 to 30 •; feet thick.
The Manukau had a few nice specimens to hand today from the branch leader. The ■ general cleaning up does not take place for a ! week. The Queen of Beauty, City of London, Alburnia, and other companies will clean up.
